S.C.O.U.T. is built offline-first and OPSEC-aware. • Email is used only for Magic Link authentication (Firebase Auth) and is not stored in your operator Firestore profile. • Journal entries and many field notes stay on your device until you choose to sync cloud features. • RECON location is shared only according to the visibility mode you select (Stealth / Squad / Beacon). • You may permanently purge your account, cloud spots, squad links, and Auth identity from Help → Account purge. • Survive Backpacking / S.C.O.U.T. does not sell operator location data.
